About Amber Suski - Noncha Art

Under the name 'Noncha,' Amber Suski creates paintings that blur the boundaries between the visible world and inner experience. Her work moves between psychological depth and emotional intensity, as well as the abstract mystery of the unknown. In her paintings, she explores themes such as emotional disturbance, alienation, inner fragmentation, or the duality between the conscious and the unconscious. Noncha paints both figuratively and completely abstractly. Her paintings invite the viewer to find their own meaning. What connects her work across different styles is her distinctive use of color.

Schizo Rooms '26

About Schizo Rooms '26:

Schizo Rooms '26 is an oil painting on canvas. It reflects an element of schizophrenia, focusing in particular on the unconventional and disjointed patterns of thought associated with it.The 'rooms' and figures in the painting attempt to represent how these thought patterns are connected withing someone's unique way of thinking. The figures are intended not to be symmetrical, even though they may appear to be. This symbolizes a way of thinking in which one searches for connections in everything (apophenia). Pattern recognition, or teling a story that seems perfectly logical yet incomprehensible to the outside world, often occurs in such unique minds. In this painting, the journey starts from the small open door painted on the forehead.

This work is painted with oil on a cotton canvas measuring 50 x 70 x 1.8cm
